There’s no fancy showroom or premium liquor cabinet. Aside from our expert advice and some lookbooks, there’s just fabrics, fabrics, and fabrics. Our focus is on delivering high quality custom-tailored clothing in line with your exact style specifications.
What the process looks like
Particularly if you have never had clothes tailor-made before, you may be wondering what to expect from the process.
Pratunam Tailor tries to make the process as easy and stress-free as possible. Therefore, the process may differ slightly based on your timeline, place of stay in Bangkok, and requirements. For example, we can also arrange to have every appointment at your hotel, for added convenience.
1. Initial meeting at our tailor shop, where we look at fabrics and designs with you, while also taking your measurements.
2. We will prepare your clothes for your first fitting
3. We will invite you back to our tailor shop. You will be asked to try on your clothes, allowing us to see what changes need to be made to the fit or design.
4. We will make the required adjustments to your clothes.
5. For certain garments, we may invite you back to our tailor shop to try on your clothes a second time. This allows us to ensure the clothes don’t only fit you well, but fit you perfectly.
6. Once any required alterations have been completed, your clothes will be ready for you.
Most steps require minimal effort from your side, and we can even minimize the amount of traveling you have to do, depending on how far you are staying from our tailor shop. Our aim is to provide honest, adaptable and high quality tailoring services, so just let us know what you need, and we will see what we can do.
